The Iowa Economic Development Authority board today approved temporarily suspending repayments of 130 loans made through the Iowa Innovation Acceleration Fund. The suspension runs through June 30. Businesses with loans through the fund won’t be required to royalty payments or loan and interest repayments. In addition, interest accrual will be deferred until June 30, said Paul Stueckradt, an IEDA compliance manager. The Iowa Innovation Acceleration Fund promotes the formation and growth of businesses with fewer than 500 workers that engage in the transfer of technology to competitive, profitable companies that create high-paying jobs.
