Coronavirus at meatpacking plants worse than first thought, investigation finds
USA Today: A rash of coronavirus outbreaks at dozens of meatpacking plants across the nation is far more extensive than previously thought, according to a review of cases by USA Today and the Midwest Center for Investigative Reporting.  And it could get worse. More than 150 of America’s largest meat processing plants operate in counties where the rate of coronavirus infection is already among the nation’s highest, based on the media outlets’ analysis of slaughterhouse locations and county-level COVID-19 infection rates.

Number of Iowa prisoners with COVID-19 spikes after ‘investigatory testing’
Des Moines Register: At least 10 more Iowa prisoners have tested positive for the coronavirus as of today, quadrupling the number of affected inmates reported by authorities on Tuesday. The 10 positives came as part of “investigatory testing” by the Iowa Department of Corrections at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center, a medium-security facility in Coralville.
