Des Moines Register: A Des Moines nursing home administrator says he reported to state health authorities on May 8 that his facility had four confirmed coronavirus infections among its residents, but state officials did not notify the public of the outbreak until this week. Iowa Department of Public Health leaders have pledged to post information on their website about any nursing home that reports three or more infections. The department didn’t do so with the Ramsey Village outbreak until this week — nearly three weeks after facility officials reported their cases —  after the Des Moines Register inquired about the discrepancy. The facility, near Drake University, was listed on the agency’s website Thursday as having 10 positive cases.
