Gov. Kim Reynolds designated $5 million in funding from the Coronavirus Relief Fund to support grants through the Future Ready Iowa Employer Innovation Fund, dedicated to assisting Iowans whose jobs have been affected or eliminated in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The program will provide funding for employers, employer consortiums, community organizations and nonprofits to provide training and tools for Iowans engaged in training programs in high-demand careers. Applications will be open until Sept. 16, and recipients will be notified by Sept. 23. The maximum available award will be $100,000 per applicant. More information is available online.
