Des Moines Register: Iowa is not receiving as many doses of the coronavirus vaccine as many other states, which is part of the reason it has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country, Gov. Kim Reynolds said Thursday. Iowa is 47th in the nation in per capita vaccine distribution from the federal government, and the state is ranked 46th in the rate of administering vaccines to residents, the governor said in a news conference. Reynolds said she has been pressing federal officials about why Iowa is receiving fewer shots than other states.
