Des Moines Register: AARP called on Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds on Thursday to quickly offer more help to seniors who are struggling to find scarce appointments for COVID-19 vaccinations. “The fragmented rollout is not only confusing and concerning, but also a prescription for redundancies, as duplicate individual registrations could lead to missed appointments and wasted vaccines,” Brad Anderson, the group’s state director, wrote to Reynolds in an open letter. “Older Iowans — all Iowans — need clarity and confidence in a system that works for them.”
